Redeeming Master Codes

You will redeem a Master Code for each ConnectED book or program that you and your students will access.

Your McGraw-Hill Master Code is an access key. It allows you and other Teachers in your School or District to access and use your purchased ConnectED Content.

You will use Master Codes to:

  1. Create a ConnectED New Teacher Account (first-time users)
  2. Redeem the Master Code to access the associated ConnectED book or program.

Tip: If you have multiple Master Codes, you can use any assigned Master Code to create a ConnectED Account.

To redeem a Master Code:

ConnectED displays My Home page.

  1. Click Redeem Master Code at the upper right (Figure 1).

ConnectED displays the Redeem Master Code dialogue box (Figure 2).

  1. Enter your 16-digit Master Code and click Next.

ConnectED displays the Redeem Master Code: [Teacher/Student] Content information screen (Figures 3 and 4, respectively).

  1. Review the information.

If you are redeeming a Master Code for Teacher Content:

ConnectED adds the Content to your Bookbag.

If you are redeeming a Master Code for Student Content:

NOTE: Typically, the End Date corresponds to the end of the school year or semester. It cannot be more than 365 days from the Start (Redemption) Date.

ConnectED displays the Start Date and End Date fields.

  1. Enter the License End Date .
  2. Click Create Redemption Code.

ConnectED displays the Print Redemption Code dialogue box to print on your local printer.

Distribute the Redemption Code to your Students.

Tip: Print or copy one Redemption Code Letter for each Student.
